During the summer I have been busy working with some high school seniors. So I’m finally just getting around to posting some of my favorites. First I wanted to share some shots I took of a senior album. These are so cool. The album is 5×7 and has 10 pages. It’s a perfect memento for a high school senior. Caleb wanted to incorporate his guitar into his session so we did a combination of funky cool stuff with his electric and acoustic and then some really cool “mod” stuff in his super cool suit. I can’t believe how grown up he looks in that suit. Besides a senior album they also ordered announcements to send to the family and some wall portraits. I wish I had a sample of the announcements because they came out really cool! (next time!)
I really enjoyed working with Ryan Krupka at Krupka Family Insurance. This family oriented company is clearly a tight-nit group and a joy to work with. Since they were updating their web presence they saw the need for company headshots and a group photo. I brought all the necessary lighting equipment to their Chatsworth CA office. In a matter of a morning at the office we were able to photograph all the employee headshots and group photo. They were supplied with fully retouched digital files for use on their websites. Here’s a sample:
In this digital age headshots have become more important than ever. For many businesses their first impression occurs on a website so it’s important to make the best first impression. Corporate headshots need to serve a specific purpose. Not only identify who you are as a company but put a warm and inviting face with the name. Image is everything, so what your internet presence says about you is all the more important.
If you are a business investing good money into your branding and website or creating printed material then it’s also a good time to update the company headshots.
If you are a business that deals with clients mostly over the phone or the internet, then it’s time to put a face with name and develop those client relationships.
I had the privilege of photographing the office of Furness and Associates, a CPA in Encino CA. We did a combination of studio headshots and environment portraits. They were supplied with fully retouched digital files for their own use. Here are a few images from that session.
Talk about playing catchup! I worked so hard to get my new website moved over and redesigned, then I’ve had a bunch of client orders to fill that my new site has been completely neglected
But I’m taking a few minutes to just post some of Jami and Rick’s wedding. First of all this was a super cool venue. They were married at Walnut Grove which is such a charming and sweet venue. Jami and Rick planned such an intimate, close and personal affair that frankly made everyone tear up from ceremony to reception. Congratulations to you both!! A very special thanks to Bonnie Treloar for shooting along side me and lending her talents.
Here are a few of my favorite images from Lydia and Erik’s wedding at Braemar Country Club in Encino, CA. We had such a good time! You can find more wedding images HERE.
I thought I would finally post a few of these headshots from my session with Mike. We had a great time doing these. Mike was looking for headshots for posting online and for use on internet dating sites. And ladies I can testify he’s a really nice guy and has a sense of humor! I’m also posting these because I’m launching a special on internet headshots. The session will include a set of four fully retouched digital files apropriate for use online. These are great for Facebook profiles and dating and social sites. The internet is the new social network and we need to put our best foot forward which means a professional headshot to make your first impression the right one. The first four individuals to share this post on Twitter or Facebook and then comment with the link to the post recieves a bonus mini album of their session. A $40 value. Call or email me for more questions regarding a headshot’s session.
Here is a great opportunity for some truly unique family portraits and make a tax deductible donation at the same time. I’ve joined with Jennifer Wilson along with some wonderful photographers for a day of shooting to benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Jennifer has been tirelessly fundraising for this organization and is putting herself through a TRIATHALON!! on behalf of a young boy named Tyler who attends her sons school. She tells his story here.
So you can get the full story here but here is the short of it. Participating families will have their portraits taken by four fabulously unique photographers and receive a total of 20 digital negatives from the sessions. Imagine getting 4 different prospectives or “takes” on your family and receiving something truly unique for your family AND benefiting The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in the process.
Please visit her blog to get the full story. I’m honored to be participating in this unique fundraiser and to help out a friend. Jen you’re the BEST!
We had an awsome portrait event last month at the Janie and Jack, Sherman Oaks store. There were truely too many cute kids to count and I wanted to share a few of my favorites. There really are too many favorites to choose from but I had to narrow it down to just a few!
