Talk about playing catchup! I worked so hard to get my new website moved over and redesigned, then I’ve had a bunch of client orders to fill that my new site has been completely neglected :(   But I’m taking a few minutes to just post some of Jami and Rick’s wedding.  First of all this was a super cool venue.  They were married at Walnut Grove which is such a charming and sweet venue.  Jami and Rick planned such an intimate, close and personal affair that frankly made everyone tear up from ceremony to reception. Congratulations to you both!!  A very special thanks to Bonnie Treloar for shooting along side me and lending her talents.

Well the day has finally come and went.  Lydia and Erik are officially Mr. and Mrs. McIllhenney.  It was one of the nicest and warmest weddings I’ve seen.  They surrounded themselves with people they loved and spread the love around.  It was full of their personality.  What was the coolest part of the wedding? The Photobooth!  Here is a link to the slide show.  4×6 prints are available for order online.  I sugest the Metalic print!  More wedding sneak peaks to come!

Okay, so not REALLY Tim McGraw and Faith Hill! But when I spoke with Erica about her vision of their engagement portraits that’s exactly how she described her desired look.  I was totally excited by her vision mixed with a little Carrie Underwood and John Wayne.  We were able to shoot in fabulous location in Chatsworth which is one of my favorite spots and it totally fit the look. I was so privileged to photograph this kind and beautiful couple. Congratulations on your love and I wish you a happy life :)

I just thought I would share a little bit on this cool venue I just shot at in Pasadena called the Rococo Room.  They do all sorts of banquet events.  Gabby and Guthrie decided to have their small ceremony and reception in one location here at the Rococo room.  The staff was super cool and they run a tight ship.  They transformed the room from ceremony to dining room in minutes. That was cool!  The area around Pasadena is super cool too. I will post more of what we did that day around Pasadena.

Well, Jazmin and Ignacio were still glowing from their Jamaica honeymoon.  We did a Trash the Dress session and we all got nice and soaked.  Of course it was high tide!  We had so much fun and I’m totally excited about the images.  Jazmin and Ignacio are both so expressive and so totally in love that it was totally easy to shoot them.  Love You both!

Hi everyone!

I thought I would mention a great site for hand crafted jewelry that’s totally georgous.  Check out Jonara Blu Maui.  She personally hand makes every piece.  If you are planning a beach wedding or just love a beach style with a touch of elegance check out her stuff.  I’m a total fan. Fresh and Funky beaded jewelry with an island twist!

My assistant Silvia and I has so much fun photographing Jazmin and Ignacio’s wedding.  The ceremony and reception were at the Sportsmans Lodge.  It was such a pretty setting and perfect weather.  Jazmin was absolutly stunning in her wedding dress and Ignacio couldn’t stop grinning from ear to ear!  They saw each other before the ceremony.  I met Ignacio outside where I told him to wait while his stunning bride comes out to meet him.  While his back was turned we shot Jazmin walking out.  She tapped him on the shoulder and when they met and saw each other it was like time stood still only for them. They embraced for a long time as they soaked in the moment.  From there we spent some alone time with the couple and had all kinds of fun taking romantic pictures.

Here’s serveral of my favorites… There were just too many!

August 9, 2008 Danny and Elizabeth Nora were married at the Hyatt in Valencia.  The wedding went of beautifully in a small outdoor ceremony.  My buddy Frank of Papini Studios was my sidekick for the day and made the day just fly by as we had fun doing what we both love!

Congratulations Danny and Nora!
