My assistant Silvia and I has so much fun photographing Jazmin and Ignacio’s wedding.  The ceremony and reception were at the Sportsmans Lodge.  It was such a pretty setting and perfect weather.  Jazmin was absolutly stunning in her wedding dress and Ignacio couldn’t stop grinning from ear to ear!  They saw each other before the ceremony.  I met Ignacio outside where I told him to wait while his stunning bride comes out to meet him.  While his back was turned we shot Jazmin walking out.  She tapped him on the shoulder and when they met and saw each other it was like time stood still only for them. They embraced for a long time as they soaked in the moment.  From there we spent some alone time with the couple and had all kinds of fun taking romantic pictures.

Here’s serveral of my favorites… There were just too many!

Maternity sessions are my favorite sessions to photograph.  When I approach a maternity session what I see is woman at her most beautiful and most powerful.  I want to bring out her inner strength while showing tenderness and the breathless anticipation of motherhood.  Pregnancy is a very brief and wonderful time as she imagines life with a child and how her life will now change, and the last time a couple will have any peace and quiet!     **So, it’s a very important memory to preserve!**

Monique and Daryl are a great couple.  I was privilege to photograph their engagement and wedding day (while I was also expecting).  They are totally comfortable and tender with each other.  They have wanted kids from the very start.  They are very deserving expectant parents.  I can’t wait to see what will be a bouncing baby boy very soon!!!

Look at those great legs!

I came across another What the Duck comic strip that is animated.  I just wanted to share.  My son is exactly at this age where everything is “NO”.  So I found this funny.

My son gets in these moods where when he’s tired he wants to hold onto a toy or something and won’t let go until he falls asleep.  We were leaving for a trip and he was ready for his nap but I was holding off until we could get in the car and he can fall asleep in his car seat.  He held onto a can of beans from the cupboard and wouldn’t let go. So we strapped him in his car seat with his can of beans!!
