I’m not kidding! There was a ladybug in my salad! I love that name for a book or something! I was just about to make myself a salad.. and I took out the bag of spinach, walked away and came back and there was a ladybug cruising my spinach. Now this was the end of the bag o’ spinach which means I’ve eaten from the bag already…. so I’m not sure how disgusted I should be… cause I don’t think of ladybugs as dirty… but… it went in my mouth already…. and as much as I adore ladybugs… I can’t quite eat the salad anymore. But I can take a picture of it! Because it’s just pretty against the green spinach!! … but now I have to go get lunch at El Pollo Loco…
haha! I’ve had that happen to me just recently…I just took her out and ate my salad..they are not dirty. They put ladybugs on plants..esp organic cuz they eat the aphids. Plus you have all sorts of bugs crawling in gardens on plants..either bugs or chemicals..take your pick lol!
but I do agree El Pollo Loco sounds great for lunch..I sure miss that place!
Yeah you’re right it’s quite organic to have ladybugs in your food
. I wasn’t that grossed out… but enough to not want to eat it. I just put the ladybug in my strawberry plants
